The Moroccan Federation stated via its social media that the opposing team's players' departure 'greatly affected the normal course of the match and the players' performance'. Earlier, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) condemned the 'unacceptable behavior' of some players and officials during the tournament final. The African Union said it is reviewing all footage and will refer the matter to the relevant authorities to take appropriate action against those found guilty.
