CAF Revenue Growth at African Nations Championship in Morocco

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced a 90% increase in commercial revenues at the African Nations Championship in Morocco, calling it 'the most successful commercial story in African football history'. CAF stated that this is due to an increase in commercial partners, the distribution of media rights, and venturing into new markets, most notably in Asia. The governing body of African sports said in a statement: 'This growth is accompanied by a gradual expansion of the sponsor portfolio. The number of commercial partners increased from nine during the 2021 African Nations Cup to seventeen during the 2023 African Nations Cup in Ivory Coast. CAF also added: 'In the 2025 edition in Morocco, more partners have been attracted, bringing the current number to 23 sponsors.'
