The Moroccan team aims to leverage the home-field advantage and fan support to secure its second continental title in history, following its sole victory in 1976, boasting a squad of professional players in top European leagues, which contributed to their reaching the semi-finals of the last World Cup in Qatar 2022 and achieving fourth place, the best-ever performance by an African and Arab team in World Cup history.
