This tournament is part of a global tour that is a pioneering Emirati initiative and the only one in the region to award international ranking points. The Englishman managed to secure a dramatic victory by making a brilliant save on the 18th hole, clinching the win by one stroke. He finished the final round five under par (67), bringing his total to ten under par for the tournament, one stroke ahead of Pierre Benoit, Mark Power, and Joseph Badjen, who all ended the competition tied.
