The Moroccan national football team extended its record-winning streak to 17 victories with a 1-0 win over Mozambique. The match took place two days ago at the Grand Stadium in Tangier as part of preparations for the African Cup of Nations finals, set to be held in the Kingdom.The only goal of the match was scored by Girona midfielder Ezzeddine Onahi in the 7th minute.Morocco's winning streak began on June 7, 2024. The team previously shared the record of 15 wins with Spain, which achieved this streak during its victory at the 2008 European Championship, before the record was broken in June 2009. The previous record of 14 consecutive wins was held by France between March 2003 and February 2004.
