The cultural center, opened in the capital of Morocco, the city of Rabat, is recognized as a symbol of modernity and architectural innovation. The venue is intended for various cultural events and can accommodate more than 1800 spectators. The architectural design, developed by the Iraqi engineer Zahi Hadid, is distinguished by its uniqueness and boldness in the use of geometric facades for walls and ceilings.

The overall space includes several rooms, including a large hall for performances and a secondary hall for 250 seats, ready to host various artistic and cultural events, from ballet and opera to symphonic concerts and theatrical presentations.

The external amphitheater is designed for 7000 people and is intended for festivals and large events. With the official opening of the cultural center in 2014, a program called 'Rabat - the city of light, the capital of culture of Morocco' is linked.

The location of the new cultural center offers views of important historical and cultural landmarks of Rabat, such as the mausoleum of Mohammed V and the minaret of Hassan. The official opening was attended by Prince Lalla Hasna, sister of the Moroccan King Mohammed VI, and the first lady of France Brigitte Macron, accompanied by the architectural work of Zahi Hadid, a renowned Italian engineer.

The construction and design of the cultural center cost 1.677 billion dirhams, which amounts to about 170 million dollars.
