The international exhibition "The New Vision of Tradition" in Marrakesh became a platform for the exchange of culture and art. This event is not just a visual exhibition but an open platform for dialogue on common human values, fears, and dreams of society. Within the framework of the exhibition, ten artists from the UAE and Marrakesh reinterpreted traditional histories of each other through contemporary visual language, reflecting their individuality and artistic vision.
Among the works of UAE artist Amina Al Katbi, the history of "The Iron Woman" is retold, where a clever boy is the only survivor among brothers after his mother creates him from iron to protect him from "Mother-Pandora." Reema Nasar presented the history of "The Forest Monster."
Marrakechi artists, in their works, were inspired by one of the most famous Emirati folklore, presenting their creative vision. The diversity of artistic techniques in the exhibition ranged from digital drawing to illustrative painting and graphics, demonstrating harmony between inherited and contemporary imagination.
Participation in the exhibition in Marrakesh confirms the international interest in the reinterpretation of national traditions through art. This is the sixth exhibition project in a row and continues to strengthen cultural ties between nations, presenting folk tales from a new perspective within the framework of inspiring and progressive art.
